A bit about me

I like to look for inspiration in the smaller moments of life and explore stories, folklore, magic and myth as means of connecting us to the world around. I mostly paint with acrylic gouache and ludicrously tiny paintbrushes (and since I live in Scotland usually wear far more layers than the photo here suggests). I also love a black cat and you will find one lurking in most of my paintings.

My security blankets. It is very rare I leave the house without some kind of notebook, sketchbook and pen. This little stack comes with me almost everywhere, I start to feel anxious if I don’t have somewhere to jot stuff down 🙃
